i’m very excited about today.

because my horoscope says new opportunities are on the horizon…

and

bc i’m excited to post my first sponsorship highlight. and i’m double-decker, triple-scoop excited that it’s on behalf of one of my family members.

you may remember that darla was a flower girl at my cousin’s beautiful maine-based wedding this summer. cousinbride had tons of handmade wedding details including these very cool light catcher decorations. i loved them so much that i begged to take one home at the end of the reception.

well, cousin-o-mine opened her own etsy shop for these handmade creations. cousin’s shop will be sitting over there on the sidebar for a bit. please click on over there and take a peek around. she has lots of color combos, including christmas and nursery themed options. it’s never too early to start planning for next summer’s nuptials either.

what i bought this week on the internet

my fashion tastes usually fall into one of three catagories: lace, floral, southwestern. here’s what i got this week with the excuse of celebrating a birthday in LA in just a couple of weeks

looks like floral got left out this time

1. earrings by DittyDrops on Etsy. i wanted just about every pair. my second choice would be these, just in case anyone is shopping for me for that big 2-9 i have coming up.

2. Urban Outfitters Dress. lace + scallops = perfect warm weather dress in my eyes.

stocking stuffers

darla’s been into stamping lately so i decided quirky little stamps would be a good stuffer this year. etsy is of course my go to place but i’ll still need to see what i can find when i hit up the craft shop. i found this cuuuuute little set on JFlairHomestyles etsy. i thought the prices were pretty reasonable given then number of pieces in each set and quality. now i’m in search of some fun inks. shopping. weeeee!
